Backstory: Ainsley Quinn Tan Zobel is the youngest child of Alejandro Zobel III and Meng Yao Tan-Zobel, both well known personalities in the business and art industry. Ainsley’s father is the chairman of the Zobel Group of Companies and the head of De La Salle Zobel (which is a prestigious university in the Philippines) while her mother is an avid art collector who also happens to be an artist herself. As the youngest daughter, Ainsley didn’t feel any pressure from her parents nor was spoiled rotten as portrayed in stereotypes. But rather, she grew up in a loving household that upholds the virtues of care, respect, and appreciation—heavy family values of honor influenced by their Chinese culture.
After graduating her Elementary education in the Philippines, her parents allowed her to study abroad—in Greece to be exact, all because she watched the movie “Mamma Mia!” and became obsessed with it. She stayed in Mykonos Greece with her foster family, the Renaldi's who made her life in a foreign country a very memorable one. She grew very close with her foster family and is still actively in touch with them.College came and Ainsley was confused as to what major she’ll get, pondering about it until the last day of enrollment where she decided to go with Bachelor of Arts in Literature at Ateneo De Manila University.
